I'm getting ready to head out to a couple estate sales, but quickly threw some of my favorite search terms into the KC craigslist.

I really wish I had a truck. I'd take these items home.

First, this sofa table is just gorgeous. I love that the base is really one bent leg. I'd put a tall lamp and a cat on it.

Second, this desk is only $15!!!
I'm imagining it a creamy white with new gold drawer pulls. I'm also imagining it turquoise with shiny crystal drawer pulls. 

Third, this stylishly squat little chair. My nephew would look so cute sitting on this chair playing Angry Birds.

Red Chair

The red chair is $5. It looks sturdy. Hell, you could even charge admission to it, as I'm certain it has a well-springed seat that would remind you of your childhood, except you weight more (a lot more) now and you'd sink in more than you used to. But that extra crunching sound is what you're charging for.

Beauty Parlor Chair

This chair is $200. At first I thought that was a little expensive, then I thought, "If it looks this great in the middle of a dirt road, imagine how great it would look ANYWHERE else."

Just think of the mess you could make eating ice cream in it.

Attention Hipsters: Accessory Decor

I know it's a common problem -- when I can only wear one big ass belt buckle at a time, how do I let people know there's more where that came from?

Glass & Chrome Coffee Table

I used to have a round glass coffee table. It had a peace sign-shaped frame and the glass was almost two inches thick. I miss that table.

Imagine how great this would look with a Design Sponge book, a small bouquet of flowers and glass of fancy Belgian beer on it.

The glass alone is worth more than they're asking. Yes, I realize that's something old ladies say.

Arch Mirror

This isn't quite my style, but I'm imagining it at the end of a long dining room table in a room with 20 foot ceilings. It would also be perfect if you have some windows that look just like it. That way you could practice how cool you look looking out the window.

Brass Shelf

Lately, I love brass more than chrome. I wish I had room for something like this, mainly because I would enjoy searching for just the right things to fill it up. It's for sale on craigslist for only $30!

I saw a very similar brass shelf on Secrets from a Stylist. There are several shots of it here on her blog.
